PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Services Unit PLTU Suge Belitung is a steam power plant (PLTU) located in Suge Hamlet, Pegantungan Village, Badau District, Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province with an installed capacity of 2 x 16.5 MW. Since its inception, PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Services Unit PLTU Suge Belitung has been committed to carrying out operational and maintenance activities for its generating unit by always paying attention to aspects of environmental protection. One of these commitments is manifested through efforts to protect biodiversity within and outside the work unit area such as establishing an Environmental Management Policy in the Sector of Biodiversity Protection, establishing conservation areas and lists of protected biological species and implementing biodiversity protection programs by collaborating with government, NGOs and others. Some of these programs include Tarsius Belitung conservation, seed bank and reforestation.
